Betting and Game Rules

These rules set out how bets, spins and live rounds are settled at Amon Casino, what happens when a game is interrupted, and how play with bonus funds differs from play with your cash balance. They apply alongside our terms and conditions and the rules built into each game.

Rules that apply to all betting and play

Every bet, spin and round placed through your account with us is covered by these rules, by our terms and conditions and by the rules of the individual game. Where a game's own rules deal with something in more detail, those rules apply to that game.

You may hold one account only. Play on a second account, or on an account opened in another person's name, may be voided along with any winnings from it. We hold a gaming licence for the games we offer and we verify the identity, age and payment details of account holders.

Cash balance and bonus balance

Your account can hold real money and bonus funds. Where both are present, the cashier and the game screen show which balance a stake is taken from. Bonus funds carry the terms of the offer they came with; your cash balance does not.

A bet is final once it is placed

Once you confirm a stake, the bet stands. We cannot cancel, change or refund a round because of a mis-click, a change of mind or a stake set at the wrong level, so double-check the stake and the bet lines on screen before you confirm.

How bets and spins are settled

Games run on the game server, not on your device. The result recorded on that server is the result of the round and it is final. If your screen or your game history shows something different after a refresh, a lost connection or a window being closed, the server record is used to settle the round and to correct your balance.

Each game carries its own rules, paytable and help screen, reached from the information icon in the game window. Those pages set out the winning combinations, how features are triggered, how jackpots or multipliers are awarded, the stake range and any maximum payout.

The theoretical return to player figure is published in the help screen of each game. It describes the expected return over a very large number of rounds, not the return of a single session, and it cannot be used to predict the outcome of any one round.

Before you play a game for the first time, look at:

  • the paytable and the rules for each feature
  • the minimum and maximum stake the game accepts
  • the maximum payout and how unfinished free spins are carried over

Malfunctions, interrupted rounds and disconnections

A malfunction voids all pays and all play in the rounds affected. This covers errors in the game software, in the way a result is displayed, in the payment of a win and in the operation of a feature or jackpot. Where a round is voided, the stake is returned to the balance it was taken from.

If an amount is credited to your account in error, we may correct the balance. Where it has already been withdrawn or staked, we may ask you to return it and may hold the account while the matter is looked into.

If your connection drops partway through a round, the round is held on the server. When you log back in, one of the following happens, depending on the game:

  1. The round resumes at the point where it stopped, and you finish it as normal with the same stake in place.
  2. The round settles to the result already recorded on the server, and your balance is updated to match that result.
  3. Unfinished free spins or feature rounds are restored and can be completed within the period stated in the game's rules.

Closing a game window, switching device or being logged out does not change a result the server has already recorded.

Playing with bonus funds

Bonus funds, free spins and other promotional credits are governed by the terms published with the offer and by our general bonus terms, in addition to the rules on this page. Where the two differ, the terms of the specific offer apply to that offer.

The following conditions apply to most offers and are worth checking before you start:

  • Maximum bet. While a wagering requirement is open, stakes above the maximum shown in the offer terms are not allowed. Rounds placed above it may be voided, together with any winnings from them.
  • Game contribution. Games count towards a wagering requirement at the rates set out in the offer terms, and some games do not count at all.
  • Feature purchases. Bonus buys and similar in-game purchases may be unavailable while a wagering requirement is open.

Withdrawing while a wagering requirement is open normally removes the remaining bonus funds and any winnings attached to them. The cashier states what will be lost before you confirm the withdrawal.

Live casino and table games

Live tables are run by a dealer in a studio and streamed to your device. The dealer's actions at the table decide the round: the cards dealt, the position of the ball and the point at which betting closes.

Each table shows a countdown for the betting window. A bet is placed only if it is confirmed and received before betting closes. Bets that arrive late, or that are never confirmed, are not accepted and the stake stays in your balance.

Table limits, side bets, how a tie or push is settled and the house rules of each variant are set out in the help screen at the table. Limits differ between tables of the same game, so check the table you are joining.

  • A dealer error that affects the outcome voids the round at that table and stakes are returned.
  • If the video or audio stream is lost, the round is still settled on the server record for that table.
  • Table chat is moderated, and seated games may release your seat if you place no bet for several consecutive rounds.

Queries and disputes about a round

If you think a round has settled incorrectly, contact us before you play it again, so that the record stays as clear as possible.

  1. Note the game name and, where one is shown, the round or game reference.
  2. Note the date and time of the round and the time zone you were in.
  3. Note the stake, the result shown on screen and your balance before and after.
  4. Send the details to support@casinoamon.co.uk, or start a live chat session on the site.

We check the server logs for the round against your account history and reply with what the logs show. Where a round was voided or settled in error, we correct the balance. If that does not settle the matter, our complaints procedure sets out the next steps, including the dispute resolution body named there, and the time limits for raising a dispute are in our terms and conditions.
